Marcus Farnsworth won first prize in the 2009 Wigmore Hall International Song Competition and the Song Prize at the 2011 Kathleen Ferrier Competition. Marcus appears on the first recording in The Mozartists’ complete Mozart Opera Recording Cycle, Apollo et Hyacinthus. Opera roles include Guglielmo (Così fan tutte) and English Clerk in Britten’s Death in Venice for English National Opera, Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas) for the Early Opera Company, the title role in Britten’s Owen Wingrave in Nuremberg and Eddy in Mark Anthony Turnage’s Greek for Music Theatre Wales.
