Sri Lankan British soprano Kishani Jayasinghe is a former Associate Artist of The Mozartists, and made her company début as Sifare in the 2009 production of Mitridate, re di Ponto at Sadler’s Wells and the Buxton Festival. From 2006 to 2008, Kishani was a member of the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House. She has also sung for Garsington Opera, Glyndebourne on Tour, Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, National Reisopera in Holland, Singapore Lyric Opera, Opera Theatre of St Louis and the Wexford Festival. Her opera roles include Mimì­ (La Bohème), Leila (Les pêcheurs de perles), Countess (Le nozze di Figaro), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Rosina (Corigliano’s The Ghosts of Versailles) and Hanna Glawari (The Merry Widow). She has won top prizes in various International Vocal Competitions.
