A former Associate Artist of The Mozartists, Elizabeth Bailey has appeared with us in recital at Wigmore Hall and in the role of Elisa in our 2011 performance of Il re pastore at Kings Place. Among others, her opera roles include Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro) and Elvira (L’Italiana in Algeri) for Opéra de Lausanne, Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte) at Theater St. Gallen, and Blondchen (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) for Opéra royal de Wallonie. Elizabeth was a finalist in Operalia 2009 and, in 2008, she was a Laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels, where she won the Jacques Stehman Audience prize.
