Anglo-French mezzo soprano Anna Stéphany appeared with The Mozartists in ‘Blessed Spirit – a Gluck retrospective’ at Wigmore Hall, which was recorded and released in 2010 by Wigmore Hall Live. From 2012-15 Anna was a member of the ensemble at Zürich Opera, where she sang the role of Dorabella in Così fan tutte and Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, as well as Siebel in Gounod’s Faust and Nicklausse in Offenbach’s Tales of Hoffmann. Other Mozart roles include Annio in La clemenza di Tito for Aix en Provence. On the concert platform, her appearances include La damoiselle élue with the Philharmonia and the St Matthew Passion with the Handel and Haydn Society in Boston.
